As mentioned on my previous post, I do not like the fact that iPhone's built-in cam has only a resolution of 3 megapixels. I might have said that I do not like it but it does not mean that I hate, too.
iPhone's built-in cam can actually take decent photos especially when there is enough amount of light on your subject. I've shown you one of my iPhone photos taken during the day which I say I really like. If you have missed that post, here's the photo again (or you can check the post here):
Anyway, since the built-in cam on iPhones does not come with special features especially the night camera (which I consider as very important in all digital cameras), taking good photos during nighttime with my iPhone is next to impossible. Thanks to the power of iPhone apps! I have installed the night camera from the App Store the same day my phone has been delivered to me. I am one of the lucky people to install the night camera during its "free to install" days.Although I really find the night camera app so good, please do not expect it to be perfect. All I can say is that the night camera is very useful to me. Here are some of the features of the night camera app:
- 4x digital zoom
- 3 modes: standard, stable and timer (one of my favorite features)
- photo browser with delete
- geotagging
- four color options: color, black and white, sepia and hard light
- aspect ratios
- repeat/continuous shots (also a favorite of mine)
- and more
Below are some photos taken using the night camera iPhone app (I used the timer and the black and white features of it):

So if you want to enjoy your iPhone's camera more, try installing the night camera. I hope you will like it as much as I do.Have a great day everyone!
