And Today's Mental Torture Is Ovah'!Friday, January 15, 2010 Mary Anne Velasco
Done! My Math C final exam's ovah' ! What a relief. I can now have a stress-free life, at least for awhile. Me and my only classmate in our French Level 1 class are scheduled to take the last written test sometime next week. No rush yet . At this very moment, I only want to be at peace, away from my books and notes. What a feeling!
The Math test was difficult but wasn't a total torture. I had somehow gotten out of the exam room with no trace of brain damage whatsoever. It was such a good feeling to go to this morning's battle prepared. The sacrifice of spending hours studying until 2 in the morning yesterday was worth it. My boyfriend assured me that I'd be fine (he believes so much in me). He even guessed that even if the exam had been scheduled from 8AM until 12NN, I'd be done with the test in just 2 hours and 20 minutes. He was right! I submitted my papers at exactly 10.20! Lucky guess, huh?
I went straight home after my stressful 2 hours and 20 minutes of mental pain, fixed myself a cup of coffee and cooked something delightful for my lunch today. Please ask me not the name of this dish. I couldn't figure out what to call it. I simply sautéed onion, add in chicken and poured some Teriyaki sauce and when it was done, I placed it on top of my newly cooked pasta. This whatever-it's-called-dish is my simple, quick and really tasty treat for my taste buds today. I didn't need to be a Math wizard to fix a delectable lunch for myself!
My stomach's so full now and I've only slept for barely three hours (or should I just call it a nap?). My eyes are so tired and my body's in deep need of rest. So, tah tah for awhile. I'll be back in a couple of hours or so.
