Deep Fried Pizza Balls For LunchSaturday, August 28, 2010 Mary Anne Velasco
From time to time, I look for new recipes to spice up the aura of our dining table and before going to sleep last night, Bebe has introduced the idea of deep fried pizza which according to him, might interest me. He's got me there! I've taken a few minutes digging into some online recipes regarding the dish and mixing and matching those recipes to come up with my own creation before finally headin' to dreamland.
Excited and pumped, I've woken up early this morning and started preparing Deep Fried Pizza Balls for lunch. It's taken me more than an hour to have everything done. The experiment and new dish has become a success and is now included in my personal recipe pages.
For this recipe, I've added tiny bits of red bell pepper into the dough to introduce more flavor. Slices of pepperoni [my fave pizza topping], cheese and a light amount of pizza sauce serve as the dough's filling combo'. To make the recipe complete, I've created a yoghurt-taco sauce mix for the dip.
I therefore conclude my lunch in one word =YUM!
