I don’t have a long, prettily shaped and colored set of nails. I guess, that’s already obvious. I have never blamed my chosen profession but then again, it’s a factor. Since chefs are expected to work in the kitchen with clean and well trimmed nails, I always maintain them short and neat. Somehow, job related or not, that’s the way I like ‘em most days of the week.
And so you ask me, do I envy women with long painted nails? Envy? No. However, I sometimes wish that my nails are also [rarrr!] sexy looking as others have especially during special occasions when I am one of the guests and not working as the caterer.
Oh. Yes! I do have a collection of nail polish. Unfortunately, in boring shades of brown. Just like wearing makeup, I am afraid to go bold and courageous. Brown seems to be on the safer side so one of its shades I wear whenever I feel like painting my finger- and toenails.
Enough about my humdrum and monotonous nail paints. Let’s take a look at L'oréal Paris Color Riche Nails. Uh-oh… I find them so inviting and I might actually purchase two or three of them when the salary hits my bank card. This time, I will be refraining myself from grabbing those in shades of brown. The red, blue and pink bottles are definitely my targets this time!
Price-wise, they are not at all that terrifying. Well, they aren’t cheap to start with but not over the top expensive, too. Plus, if it’s from L'oréal Paris, the quality must be excellent! So a few more bucks must be worth it!
