Farewell To The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson

by - Friday, June 26, 2009

Boyfriend's surfing the news online and was shocked to read about Michael Jackson's death. Michael Jackson who is one of the best artists ever was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital today, 25 June 2009.

Despite the fact that there has been a lot of negative issues covering Michael Jackson's life for the past years still, many people (including yours truly) enjoy his music and performances a lot and actually support him up to this very moment (onwards). It's truly devastating to know that the King of Pop has already left us.

He was supposed to perform on a series of concerts as his biggest pop comeback at the O2 Arena in London beginning on the 13th of July 2009 (originally scheduled on July 8 - tickets are actually sold out already). According to Sky News, the legend was rehearsing for his concert in his home in Los Angeles when he suddenly went into cardiac arrest. A CPR was performed on the singer while inside the ambulance with hopes to save his life. However, at 3:15 PM (EDT) the Pop King was declared dead after falling into a deep coma.

Life is truly short. Thanks Michael Jackson for the beautiful music you've shared and will leave behind for the world to cherish forever. Thank you for the music.ros

  5. Maxi, this was shocking, and I'm actually not even an hour from LA as this has been the overwhelming talk right now.

His impact on music as well as accomplishments speak for themselves.

Very sad day in the world of music.

    Nice tribute my dear friend.

  7. I feel sad too after knowing about this although I'm not a fanatic fan of Michael Jackson, but I definitely do enjoy his music. Back then during my childhood days in the 1980s, I have always enjoyed watching and listening to his Beat It and Thriller music video clips. I would always get excited whenever I hear "Beat It! Beat It!" as a child. Now Michael Jackson is no longer here anymore, but his outstanding impact on the international music scene and his music will be missed and remembered always. :'(

  13. Good tribute Maxi. For some us, we not only remember his reign as the King of PoP, but also his days as a child star.

Although he is also known for various negatives, his impact on the music world is profound.

  15. Yeah despite him having some major issues with his daily life, he was still a very good artist. It is surprising to have both him and Farrah Faccet die on the same day.
