I Totally Hate Spammers! (Who Doesn't?)
I opened my email today checking for emails from friends and notifications. I was having a great time reading through some of the messages I received from friendly people. However, when I got to the Spam part of my Yahoo mail, I panicked a bit when I read the subject on one of the emails saying:
[ Notification ] - Your billing details have been changed!
The email contained:
Dear Member,
Account Status - Limited/Suspended!
Account Offense - Violation of Terms of Service section 4 - Account has been accessed by unauthorized IP's.
Details - An investigation of your PayPal account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being abused.
In accordance with Terms of Service section 4, Paragraph B a probationary suspension is pending on this account, awaiting confirmation from a specialist.
A final warning has been issued. The investigation will be continued by the Account Administration Team to determine the any further suspensions.
Be aware that any additional inappropriate actions may result in the permanent closure of the account.

I of course did not follow what they were telling me to do.
I totally dislike people who send emails like this one to scam people. How about those who are innocent about such matters?

Wow, that could be a very convincing email for some. Glad you didn't click the link. Hopefully others who get this notice that in no way is that a paypal link. The ones that can make it harder are where they change one letter, like www.papal.com stuff lidat.

that's a lot different to tell if only a letter or two are changed. we should be a lot wiser these days i guess or else our paypal accounts will surely be emptied.
