School Begins Today For Me!
The alarm went off at 7 o'clock this morning. I was first puzzled what was going on. It took me a few seconds to realize that the alarm was meant for me. In fact, I was the one who set it at 7 to make sure that I wouldn't be late for my first day of school.
Anyway, since my everdearest Bebe was in the shower then, I decided to apply my usual "5 minutes, please?" ritual before finally getting up. And so I did take a nap which unfortunately didn't help at all.
Not wanting to be late, I dragged myself off from bed and with eyes closed, walked to the bathroom. I fixed myself quick, had only corn flakes without milk (I never liked the taste of their combo anyway) and a glass of water for breakfast. If I hadn't been too lazy, I could have had a yummy cup of coffee. Well then, as most of you people do (I hope), I brushed my teeth for my sake, the person who would be sitting right next to me in the mini-auditorium and for anyone who would be interested to have a conversation with me. I watched my reflection on our gigantic bedroom mirror, put on my sneakers, wore my sweater (as it was 14 degrees Celsius this morning - brrrrr...) and grabbed my bag.
Janne and I were on our way to school 10 minutes before 8AM which was just perfect as we arrived a couple of minutes right before the principal began his welcome speech. (Clarification: Janne works as a teacher in the same school I go to which was why we walk to school together).
All in all, everything went fine. Everything except for the fact that three days a week, my favorite subject begins at 8AM sharp! Ahhhh!!!
