Where My Gothic Friends Feel They're 100% Accepted
Living in Sweden for two years now has helped me open my eyes to the reality that it is okey to be different for as long as you know what you are doing and that you are not stepping on anyone's shoes.
Going to school everyday gives me the opportunity to mingle with different people and have them as friends. Each student has his or her own style. I do have some classmates who belong to the Gothic group. They color their hair in the weirdest way possible, put on heavy make, mix up clothes instead of matching each piece and paint their nails with dark shades. That's their style and that's how they carry themselves and therefore should be respected in my opinion.
Some of my Gothic classmates are already members of a free gothic chat community where they can freely express their ideas, beliefs and outlook in life. They get to meet both old and new friends who can truly accept them as a person and not judge them by their chosen lifestyle. I am honestly happy to know that my Gothic friends know a place where they can say "they belong".
