Åsa and I were two of the eight chosen ambassadors for the 2008-2009 Attract and Retain project. Both of us were interviewed by Miss Agneta Brunzell of Kuriren (the local newspaper) on the afternoon of December 14, Monday about our participation in the said program.

Anyway, the project Attract and Retain was launched sometime in July of 2008 wherein we, the eight chosen ambassadors were invited from one youth gathering to another to try and motivate the people of our younger generation to get proper education for a better future. In addition, we also encouraged unemployed individuals to not give up hope.

Our one year term as ambassadors ended a couple of weeks ago. The experience was worth remembering!

The interview was published on Kuriren just hours after our talk with Miss Agneta. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to grab a copy as I thought that it would be for the Tuesday's paper (silly, I didn't ask). It was my boyfriend who gave me a call that night informing me about being featured on one of the pages of the paper.
