Our Hong Kong vacation in August 2009 has been really short (just five days). But I have to admit that it has been one of the most wonderful five days of my life.
The only problem I encountered was communicating with the locals. The language barrier between us (me, Janne and Lo) and the Chinese people seemed to be thick enough for us, the travelers to try to survive on our own as much as possible. Aside from that, everything had been awesome.
Hong Kong is a beautiful city to travel to. There are too many astounding places to visit, the food is good and affordable, shopping possibilities are endless and the public transportation is fantastic (I sure like the routes of the Hong Kong trains --- they're almost everywhere and cheap).
Another thing that amazes me is the presence of cake stands in Hong Kong. Whenever I turn my head, I see at least two! My taste buds have been really lucky for five days. The cakes are delicious and are priced right. These are just some of my favorite cakes in Hong Kong:

Chocolate cakes make my knees weak. After each of our daily tours, I make sure that we will be passing by a cake station on our way to the hotel for me to buy slices of these yummy creations. How I wish I am in Hong Kong right now.
My vacation in the Philippines will never be complete without visiting Goldilocks and Red Ribbon. Even if I will not be having the opportunity of grabbing the delicious cakes in Hong Kong, the famous cake shops in my home country will definitely not let my taste buds down.
Speaking of my up coming travel, it is important for me to apply for a Short Term Insurance. Well, you know --- just in case something happens (ohhhh... I hope nothing bad will take place).
Okey, I have to say nighty nighty to all of you now. I have to go to bed in awhile. Hopefully, I will be dreamingof being in a chocolate cake planet where I can have as much as I want. Lovely!
