Looking Forward To My Leisure And Online Studies Fusion

by - Wednesday, January 13, 2010

I will be taking subjects online this spring term. On February, I will be flying to the Philippines and will be staying there for 23 days. I do not want to miss three school weeks (that's a lot!) which is why studying online no matter how difficult it might be is one smart option for me to choose.

Honestly speaking, I never thought that real online degrees are beneficial. Now I see how studying online can be advantageous to full time moms, working professionals and travelers.

All I need to do is to have enough self discipline (which I know I have) to spare enough time in reading the books, completing homeworks and submitting all assignments online on time. Although I will be doing everything on my own pace, I will try not to be so relaxed so as not to forget my daily schedule for this term which my teachers and I have agreed on.

Madde, my boyfriend's sister who I will be traveling with to the Philippines is also taking online courses because of the journey. She and I have already talked about the possibilities of staying beyond 12 midnight in coffee shops (glad to have lots of coffee shops with wi-fi connection in the Philippines that are open 24 hours a day), sipping our favorite cups of coffee while studying with our laptops on. I am sure that Madde and I are going to be spending lots of hours shopping and visiting cool places in Manila from morning until late at night. Spending time in coffee shops might just be our only time to have for our studies so we might as well do it.

This is my first time to combine studies with leisure and I find it not bad at all. I am sure that everything will work out just fine.
