Advanced Shopping For The Holidays

by - Thursday, September 30, 2010

23 hours and 6 minutes from now, September is completely over. Without a doubt, time flies! October then comes November and ta-da ~~~ hello December!

This year, I've made it a point to do my Christmas shopping really early to avoid the rush and well... the stress. I check my list every now and then to make sure that I have something for everyone in the family. It's not an easy task, you know. Although I've begun shopping months earlier, I still can't make up my mind on a few items on my list. Whew! I hope that I can finalize the few things that have to be done at least a month before the eve of December 25 so I can just sit down, breathe and chillax instead of running around from one shop to another panicking during the last minute. I hate that feeling!

Anyway, I've been thinking some more lately. During the 2009 holiday season, I haven't been able to send my friends anything through mail. Even if I am aware that Facebook and e-mail greetings are a great way of sending my holiday wishes to them, I want to make it more special this year. So aside from completing the gift list, I'll be purchasing sets of personalized holiday cards to send to my awesome pals around the world. I bet this simple gesture will add more joy to their hearts. It's always a great surprise to get something from the mail, right?
Speaking about the holidays and the presents, I have to put a lot of heart into finding something for my boyfriend. He's been really good and loving to me and he deserves something nice. I wonder what...
