Time flies faster than Superman 'eh! A few days ago, I've already turned 32! As most Filipinos say ~~~ my age has officially stepped out of the calendar box! Oh my!
Anyway, first and foremost, I want to say "Thank you" to Bebe for the awesome birthday gift! Sad to say that the surprise have arrived a week earlier [blame it to the the delivery guy!]. Does not matter as I am so happy with my Cricut Cake gift! Woot woot!!! I love this new baby of mine! Thanks Bebe!!! Puss och kram!
I also want to thank my mom, dad and brothers for the greetings and never-ending chit chats. Love you all and miss you!
For my Swedish family who has made my birthday super cool! Thanks Mamma Lena and Anders for the delicious dinner and the gifts, Maghnild and Stig for the gifts and Tommy for the cute lighting Teddy.
I also want to extend my sincere "THANK YOUs" [yeah.. plural!] to my everdearest blugging friend David and my super cute soon-to-be-doc great friend Gagay for sending me their birthday greetings through blog posts. You both are truly brilliant! Mwahugs!

This year, we decided to celebrate my 32nd birthday a day later. My 2010 birthday fell on a Thursday [October 07] so to extend our fun hours, we had it on the 8th, Friday.
It started out with dinner which Mamma Lena prepared, watched the final 12 of the Swedish Idol on telly, had long talks during the coffee break and played PS3 Move until almost 4 in the morning.
Regarding my birthday cake, I did not put so much fancy designs onto it. I created a simple one since it was just for me. I thought that I could not surprise myself anyway so why make a complicated cake? Anyway, since I love chocolate so much, my birthday cake was so chocolate-y. Used my moist chocolate cake recipe, my fave' and used chocolate ganache to fill the layers. The cake decorations were made out of white and dark chocolates. The coating of the chocolate was made of dark chocolate. I wasn't so happy about the side of the cake because it wasn't smooth as I wanted it to be. Since I used only melted chocolate and not ganache, the chocolate dried too fast making it impossible for me to smoothen the sides of the cake. Nevertheless, it tasted like heaven so I was still proud about this chocolate cake creation.
At past 2 in the morning, yawns were starting to kick in but we kept the fun rolling!

We head home at past 4AM. We all had hours of great joy and super fun! Went home tired but contented and superbly happy!
