HoldEm Or Omaha?
Earlier, I've written about my early poker experience. What I haven't told you yet is that I've won first place during a family poker on Christmas eve '10. Nah. We haven't played with real cash but I must say that winning feels absolutely awesome. I usually end up in last place but that night has just been my night. Just perfect!

After that, there hasn't been any family poker game days so far. It's a relief to know that there are online poker rooms to go to when I feel like playing it, a good way for me to prepare myself for the next match!
Oh by the way, it's Texas HoldEm I play. I've come across Omaha just lately. According to surveys, HoldEm and Omaha are the two top poker games [http://www.pokerjunkie.com/poker-games.html] as of today. Out of curiosity, I've tried Omaha a few times online and have been frustrated everytime I play it. It's too confusing for me. With four cards face down in the start of each round, I get lost most of the time. I guess Omaha isn't for me, yet. I am not giving up though. Will still keep on trying until I finally get familiar with its entire concept. Wish me luck!

Hi Maxi! :)
ReplyDeleteI like Texas Hold 'Em, but I'm not nearly as good at it as some of my friends I've played against. One of my very good friends used to have crazy bets(which I've mentioned on my blog before) involving that game. Still, it has really come a long way in a short time.
I've never played Omaha, but I know I wouldn't fair no better at it anyway.
Have a great weekend my blugging friend! :* :)
Hello DAvid! I've given Omaha a try again but I still can't get the hang of it. I think I'll be sticking to Texas Hold' Em. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope we can play together one day!
Thank you for dropping by and sharing some love! You're lovely!
