Under My Umbrella (Ella ella eh eh eh)

by - Monday, June 13, 2011

It’s been raining on and off for the past days.  According to the weather forecast, it might continuously rain everyday for a few more 24-hour cycles and ughhh… that’s no fun at all.  So much for those warm sunny days, eh?

It rained the whole day today so instead of taking a walk downtown for some shopping [maybe], I ended up running to the grocery store located 20-25 meters away from the flat.  It wasn’t that bad though as I got a handful of ingredients for the sweet and sour pork recipe for dinner.  T’was my first time cooking the said dish and yay! --- I cooked it like a pro!  Yum yum with rice!  Thanks to the rain for that!

Anyhoo, if and only if the sky’s going to be a little friendlier and the sun’s going to shine on me tomorrow, I will be taking that walk downtown but if the weather’s not on my side, then I have no choice but to put the stroll off till later time.

Oh… I wonder where I’ve placed my lovely floral-patterned umbrella which I’ve bought in the summer of 2009.  Need to start searching for it.  It’s my best bud at this time of the year.

Goodnight everyone!  Hope it’s sunny and warm on your part of the world!

That's the good thing about rainy days sometimes. Either we get things done inside the house or get totally lazy. Good thing you made an achievement with your sweet and sour!
