The Forgotten Pair Of Lacoste Boots

by - Sunday, August 28, 2011

Four days ago, I spent hours fixing an open cabinet for my shoes [and Bebe’s, too].  I removed one of the tiny shoe racks that we had in the hallway and replaced it with a four-layer closet.  I thought that it would be enough but I was wrong.  I ended up having this long stack of shoe boxes which wasn’t really pleasing to the eyes [will post a pic later].  There was nothing much I could do.  At least it looked far better than before.

While going through my boxes of shoes, I noticed that there were pairs I forgot existed.  Still many remain unused and with tags on.  In my Shoes And More Shoes! post, I have there three photos of my shoe crowd.  The photos were taken in September of 2010.  Obviously, my shoe family has grown since then.  Quite scary actually.  Yayks!

So well, there’s this pair of Lacoste boots which Bebe bought me in 2009 [November maybe?].  I found them online.  I could not remember where exactly but I was staring at it for a long time.  Bebe watched me in silence and after awhile encouraged me to get the pair instead.  I had put it to use a few times and then, it landed in one of the boxes.  Did not see it since until days ago.  It still looked good.  Will certainly put them to use when spring comes.

My pair of Lacoste boots.  Photo taken in November 2009.
Sorry for the blurry photo.

I hope everybody’s having a great Sunday!
