A Professional Photographer, Please?

by - Sunday, January 08, 2012

I own a professional camera for years now and still do not know how to use it the right way.  [Confession: I do not really own one, my boyfriend does.  I just claim it’s mine *wink*].  Lately, I’ve been browsing through folders of photos on my lappy and desktop in search for lovely snapshots of me and Bebe together worth hanging on the wall.  With thousands to choose from, I can’t seem to find an exceptional piece to proudly display in our living room.  I guess it’s time to hire a professional  photographer if I really want a decent pic up there, ‘eh?

I pass by two photo studios downtown almost everyday when I come home from school.  Although they seem to take really awesome photos, it’s sad to know that the cost is pretty sky high.  Ouch!  Nevertheless, I’ll get that perfect photo, the sooner, the better.  I only need to wait for the right time.  A seasonal discount, maybe?

Aside from having professionally taken photos of me and Bebe, I also dream of having a little fashion pictorial for fun and experience.  The photo below is taken by a sophisticated professional dc photographer who I hope to meet in person one day […you’ll never know!].

Oh, have I mentioned that my cats enjoy being on the pics, too?

With the not-so-camera-shy, Bisse.  He loves to be on pics but is shy to stare at the cam *sigh*.

These two cute cats will certainly have their photos displayed on the wall, too!

How about you?  Do you hire an acknowledged photographer for family photos and special occasions and why?

Have a lovely week and do not forget to say cheese!
