For The Love Of Food – Don’t Gain Much Weight.

by - Tuesday, August 14, 2012

As a chef, I stay true to my passions --- cooking and preparing good food.  Unlike some, I do not only taste food, I also take much pleasure in making my taste buds and stomach satisfied.  I believe my curiosity makes me eat… a lot!  Because food is all around me and that I am a self-proclaimed food monster, the thought of gaining weight scares me.  Uh-oh!

My wardrobe is filled with extra small and small sized clothes.  Since summer sale is soon to hit my favorite boutiques, I can guarantee that I’ll be shopping for more in the weeks to come.  If I get a size bigger, I’ll be forced to start my collection from the very beginning and that’s something I don’t want to happen.

On the photo below: So much food at The Real China Oriental Restaurant in Hatfield, UK --- lunch buffet at a very good price then went shopping unlimited afterwards!
How do I keep my body fit and healthy?  Simple.  I take enough sleep, drink plenty of water and exercise whenever I have the chance.  If despite my effort I still manage to one day… well… get fat, I’ll probably consider protein drinks [http://www.dietdirect.com/wonderslim-protein-diet-pretzel-twists.html], soups and snacks to help me shed those unwanted pounds.  Perhaps I can’t really say until I get there, right?  Fingers crossed, I don’t need to get to that point but one can never know!

How about you?  Have you gained weight at some point in your life?  What did you do to lose your excess baggage?  What worked for you best?  Exercise?  Hard core diet?  Slimming drinks and snacks?  Or maybe a combination of two or more?
