I Wanted To Be A Painter. Yes, I Did.

Back when I was younger, I always dreamed of becoming a painter.  If not, at least be able to learn the basics and have it as a hobby.  Lucky enough, I was able to take painting classes during my first two years in secondary school and it was then I knew that I wasn’t destined to be a painter.  I wanted to be a painter.  Yes, I did but experience told me that it wasn’t for me.  I took me with the lessons I gained from the course and up to now, I still paint during my free time.

Below:  an oil painting which finished in less than an hour [it shows!] in May of 2008.  It’s too elementary but I kinda love it.  I always sign my creations with jAnne.  Why?  It’s kinda obvious but I’ll tell you more about it next time.  Promise!
In the weeks to come, I am planning on painting something new… a pair of shoes is going to be my subject.  It’s going to be a challenge that I am looking forward to take.  It’s time to make a purchase of art supplies online [http://www.misterart.com/].  I need new paint brushes, and tubes of oil paints.  This is going to be good.  I can feel it!

How about you?  Do you paint?  If yes, how often do you paint?  Are you a painter by profession or is painting your hobby?
