If there’s one person I know of who loves orchids so much, it’s my mom.  When I was younger [way, way younger], she has this massive collection of beautiful flowering plants in our garden back home.  She tends to each and everyone of them with so much care.  If only she’s here with me in Sweden, she’ll be checking out orchids for sale online [http://www.thegardengates.com/Live-Orchids-cp267.aspx] every now and then.  That I am so sure of.

I make attempts, time and again, to keep up with my mom’s green thumb skills.  I do my best to keep my orchids alive [promise!].  Well, they are okay for awhile and then they die.  So embarrassing but true.  Perhaps I really need to attend seminars and lectures on understanding flowering orchids more.  If I do that, my mom is the very first person to congratulate me!
