One Bad Night
There was this one time at band camp… Kidding!
Anyway, one night, as I was walking home from work, there was this black car following me wherever I go. At first, I thought that he was just in the mood to drive slow. After I crossed one street to another, I noticed him tailing me. The feeling? Terrifying.
I started thinking that I should have called my boyfriend to come pick me up that night from work instead of surprising him when I reached home. Urgh!
Good thing was, I did not panic. I reached for my phone and called my boyfriend. I told him where I was and which road I was taking. He was at once on his way to rescue me!
Oh. The man in the car? He finally decided to park his car in front of me while I was about to cross a tiny road. That was the time my heart begun beating so fast. When he rolled down his window and asked me if I would want to have a ride, I was in total shock. That was creepy! Despite giving him a no for an answer, the guy just wouldn’t leave me alone.
I was preparing for combat. Not trained for one, I was so prepared to fight him if ever worse gets to worst. That night, I was regretting why I didn’t have a peppermint spray or an assisted opening knives [http://www.selfdefenseproducts.com/Assisted-Opening-Knives-p-1-c-718.html] in my bag.
Anyway, my boyfriend’s timing was just right. When he saw my boyfriend approaching, the guy drove away in a flash.
How about you? Have you had such an experience before? Do you keep self defense items inside your purse whenever you leave home?
