From London to Saint Paul in Minnesota with Love

by - Friday, December 07, 2012

When luck strikes, it takes you to places you never believe you will ever be.  Never in my wildest dreams did I thought that I would one day spend one whole week in the UK and experience the thrills and joy of London living.

Although not a member of the Roman Catholic Church, it was a delight to finally see London’s famous St Paul's Cathedral.  We were a bit unfortunate though.  The weather wasn’t that friendly that day.  With huge dark clouds above us, we were in such a hurry that we were not able to take a closer look inside.  Next visit, maybe!

From London to Minnesota … with love:

… And then, there’s this place called Saint Paul in Minnesota where one gets the chance to enjoy life to the fullest.  I want to fly there some day!

For fun and adventure:

You can opt for operating different heavy equipment through a safe set of obstacle courses and activities at Extreme Sandbox.  Great, huh?  Of course, for kids and kids at heart, Como Town is the place to be.  With a long list of rides and attractions to choose from [Family Swing, Sky Glider, Fire Brigade, Bumper Cars and more], Como Town will definitely make your Saint Paul visit worth your while.

For park and zoo enthusiasts:

Saint Paul is a house to more than 170 parks.  Would you believe it?  Check out the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory or the Minnesota Zoo if you’re an animal lover.  For bikers, joggers, nature lovers and those who are looking forward to a nice picnic day with family and friends, you can head on to Cherokee Park, Raspberry Island, Irvine Park – only to name a few.

Other things to do when in Saint Paul:

- Endless shopping days for shopaholics
- Museums and galleries
- Sports for thrill seekers
- Festivals and fairs for party and music lovers
- Casinos and race tracks for those who enjoy cards and numbers
- Dining, dining and dining!
… and so much more!

Planning your Saint Paul visit:

In order to make your Saint Paul visit hassle free, it’s always recommended to search for the best accommodation with tour packages that suits your budget, the occasion and the season.  With a wide range of St Paul MN Hotels [http://www.visitsaintpaul.com/] to pick from offering wonderful packages plus transportation, you’ll surely find the one that’s perfect for you.

If you’ll ask me, I’ll certainly add to my wish list at least a one-night stay in the lovely Covington Inn’s floating bed & breakfast.
How about you?  Have you ever been to St Paul’s Cathedral in the UK?  How about spending a week in Saint Paul in Minnesota?  Ever done that?
