H&M in Söderhamn Opens Real Soon!
According to its project head, Sven-Gunnar Johansson, H&M Söderhamn will probably open its doors to the public during the last week of April or within the first two weeks of May. That’s if, if everything goes right as planned. The entire reconstruction and renovation of the building along with all the necessary preparations has been on for six months now. Most of the town’s citizens [especially fashionistas like me!] are so excited for H&M’s opening day.
Aside from the exciting news that H&M is coming to town, KappAhl will also be extending their floor area to better its customers’ shopping experience. Wayne’s Coffee will also be back in business and one or two new restaurants will also raise their curtains.

I’ve managed to take a few photos of H&M’s ongoing construction. However, I can’t seem to remember in which photo album I have added it to. I promise to look for them more in awhile and post some of them here on my blog. I can assure you though that it’s not quite a nice view. Construction equipment and tools are all over the place. Drills, sanders, concrete saws, power hammers, wrenches, slide hammer pullers [http://www.reidsupply.com/products/bearings-power-transmission/bearings/bearing-gear-pullers/], trucks, excavators and many more!
Although I am no longer as shopaholic as I used to be, I have to admit that the up and coming opening of H&M, KappAhl’s extension, Wayne Coffee’s reopening and the addiction of food establishments downtown give me that sense of anticipation and pure excitement!
