I adore wedge shoes and sneakers but having these two mixed in one shoe? Uncertain, I am.
Wedge sneakers, as they are referred to, began taking center stage sometime in 2012. As a typical shoe-aholic, I should have gotten myself a pair to feed my curiosity but I did not. I don’t know. I wasn’t that head over heels with the wedge sneaker craze.
Huge brands sell them – Nike, Puma, Reebok, Skechers, Guess, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Geox, Coach, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Aldo, Lacoste, Anne Klein, MICHAEL Michael Kors, French Connection --- and the list just goes on and on… Name a shoe brand and you’ll most probably end up finding their own styles of wedge sneakers.
Anyway, as I visited my favorite shoe boutique downtown, I spotted this wedge sneaker corner and to my surprise, I found myself amazed and bedazzled. The who used to be uncertain me got suddenly –-- Hmmm… they look cute!

Despite the fact that I liked a few pairs, I went home with nothing. Price-wise, they weren’t that expensive. However, cute as they were, I could not convince myself that getting one would be worth it.
Am I getting one or not? A couple of weeks have come and gone since the day I have gotten a closer look at the wedge sneakers. Up to this point, the desire level hasn’t yet gone up from “like” to “really really like”. So we’ll see!
