My entire summer this year has been about working really hard and partying later.  The later part hasn’t arrived just yet but soon… I can feel it already!  No regrets though.  Work has been tough and long but everything’s turned out just right.

Anyway, if you’re planning on having a night out with your girl friends, below are some party clothing essentials that you might want to check out for inspiration:

That sexy black dress.

As they say, every woman should have a sexy black dress in her closet.  I bet you have more than one, don’t you?  When in doubt of what to wear, you can never go wrong with a black dress.  It does not matter if you opt for a long or short, with sleeves or not, backless or all wrapped up dress.  If it’s black, matching it with the right accessories will come in easy.

When it comes to lingerie, go for comfort.

Remember that you’ll be moving around and probably dancing the entire night with your friends so make sure to wear a set good set of underwear, if it’s comfortable, then go for it.  If it doesn’t, then try on a new pair.

Flabby tummies?  Go for corsets.

If you’re not that confident with your tummy then wear a corset.  Plus size corsets do magic tricks really well by hiding those unwanted curves and holding the shape of your waist.  If you don’t have a corset in your closet, buy yourself at least one.  You’ll never know when you’ll be needing it!

Lovely shoes!

A sexy pair of high heel shoes is something that you should have on your list of party must-haves.  Make sure that you are comfortable with the height of the heels.  If you are not used to walking on stilettos, start with wedges instead.  If you so want to put on stilettos and not wedges, have enough time to practice walking and dancing on it at home first before hitting the party!
