Simple & Effective Ways To Make Your Skin Look Younger

by - Friday, August 07, 2015

As we get older, our body starts to age. That is no secret and it is just a part of life. For people like myself, however, we don’t like to accept the fact. It’s not that I am scared of getting older because that is inevitable. But, if I can put it off for sometime I can look my best for a few more years. I don’t see that as a bad thing, especially if the techniques I use are not harmful to my body. So, the way I see it, it is never damaging to keep abreast of the tips and techniques that can make that happen. Here are a few of those tips for your skin.

Exercise

Exercise is brilliant for your skin. In fact, exercise is brilliant for all of your body. When you work out on a daily to weekly basis, the body flushes the circulatory and lymphatic systems. As a result, all the major organs in the body, the skin being the largest one, are easily maintained. Exercise ensures that they run as optimally as possible and stay younger for a longer period.

Moisturise

Make sure you pick the right moisturiser and beauty products. You will soon see the benefits if you do. The best moisturisers have organic and natural nutrients that the skin needs to look its best. For example, a lot of them use aloe vera that has healing properties. Plus, the majority of them revitalise the skin by adding the moisture that is taken out as a result of everyday life.

Eat Right

We all know about the benefits of Vitamins for our skin, mainly vitamin C. But, what most people don’t realise is how good fat is for our skin. Yes, the right fat will make your skin look ten years younger! It is all about Omega-3 fatty acids because they also moisturise tissue. You can find them in fish and nuts, so make sure you get your fill every week for fresher looking skin.

Also, the right diet will detox your body so it works better. It doesn’t sound the most appealing, but raw sauerkraut and kimchi will do the trick.

Microdermabrasion

Just like animals shed their skin in the wild, we can also shed our skin at home. Microdermabrasion at home is a great way to get rid of the dead skin cells and replace them with the fresh ones underneath. All you need to do is gently exfoliate the skin so that the younger skin shines through. Some people might look down on this kind of treatment, but it is perfectly fine to use and you can do it from the comfort of your home.

Fake It To Make It

You can always use a bit of makeup to get the look you want. Sometimes, the tricks of the trade don’t work as well as we would like. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t revitalise your skin; albeit with a bit of trickery! A soft, subtle effect will work wonders.
